UHO Cultural Festival
We had the honor of serving over 2,000 students, faculty, and guests at the University of Houston's annual cultural celebration. Our sizzling lamb gyros, crispy falafel, and signature garlic sauces were a huge hit. The line never stopped, and neither did our grill. It was one of our proudest large-scale events, packed with music, diversity, and nonstop energy.
Fashion Show VIP Night
We brought a fine-dining twist to street food at this exclusive backstage event. Houston’s Fashion Week welcomed our food truck behind the scenes, where we served handcrafted wraps and deluxe bowls to models, stylists, and celebrities. Fast, fresh, and photo-worthy, the hummus bowls were the real runway stars.
Citywide Food Fest
Held in downtown Houston, this food fest drew massive crowds, and our Greek chicken bowls were the show-stealer. We served over 1,000 guests in just a few hours, and many came back for seconds. With live music nearby and the smell of grilled meat in the air, we became the unofficial hangout of the night.
Private Wedding Reception
Gyro King catered a beautiful outdoor wedding for 150 guests, bringing a full Mediterranean menu tailored to the couple’s tastes. We provided plated falafel, lamb shawarma, and tzatziki bowls, all made fresh on-site. Guests loved the unexpected twist on traditional wedding fare, and we were honored to be part of their big day.

A monthly night market featuring art, music, and of course, food! Our brightly lit truck drew people in like moths to a flame.
